Rock 'n Road Hillclimb at Eagle's Nest

The 3d annual Rock 'n Road Hill Climb at Eagle's Nest located in Banner Elk, NC will take place July 31, 2009 through Aug. 2, 2009. On-line entry (preferred) will be through: www.myautoevents.com and be paid with check or money order mailed before July 28, 2009. Entry fee is: $190 per entered driver. Entries are limited to 50 cars, unlimited drivers.
Our host hotel is: The Best Western Mountain Lodge, Banner Elk, NC. Toll-free: 877-877-4553. Drivers, mention the special rate of $109.00 when you call to reserve a room.
Paddock Parking:
Please note: as in the past, no open trailers will be permitted to park in the paddock area with the exception of event sponsors. Each comp car will be assigned a 25ft. by 25ft. paddock parking space. Enclosed trailers that will fit within this space will be permitted. Paddock parking will be limited to competition cars and one support vehicle/trailer. If you have a trailer in your space with your race car, your tow vehicle will have to park in the future hotel site. Shuttles will be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Paddock parking spaces will be assigned as drivers register on Friday, July 31st. No motor homes, buses, large tractor-trailer type rigs will be permitted to park in the paddock area. Parking for them will be at the future hotel parking site. Drivers and cars will be released by the Paddock Marshalls from the registration site to go up to the paddock area to park. Other Paddock personnel will be at the site to assist you with parking. Drivers, please do not leave registration until released by the Paddock Marshall. You are part of the car show aspect of the weekend so please be prepared to stay in the registration/tech area until released to go to Eagle's Nest.

Registration will take place in Banner Elk at the park in front of the old Banner Elk elementary school on NC highway 184, Shawneehaw Ave. Central Carolinas Region of SCCA will have a registration trailer set up and tech will be conducted on-site. Driving Directions

The registration location is downtown Banner Elk, NC, next to the Banner Elk Fire Department station on the right (look for signs). Registration and tech will be conducted in the soccer field in front of the old Banner Elk Elementary School.

The Lodges of Eagle's Nest entrance is located approximately 4 miles from the intersection of NC Highways 184 and 194, southwest of downtown Banner Elk just past the Elk River airport.
Look for the large entry guard gate surrounded by stone walls.
